Next Tuesday, May 29, Polly Mann will be there and her play titled John Peter
Zenger will be read by some people. Here is the gist of it:

The play, based on an actual historical event involving John Peter
Zenger, takes place in 1735 when the US was still part of the British
Empire. Zenger was a German immigrant printer who established the
first partisan political journal in the US, The New York Weekly
Journal, in which he is accused of corrupting the governor of New York,
an appointee of the King. Zenger was tried for printing libelous
material. The verdict set the precedent for an important principle of
law still in effect today. Much of the material came from transcripts
of the trial.

Also, i think everyone got this letter in the mail re. Fast Track. Please take a minute to sign and send in or go to their web site
