Hi,  Tuesday, September 10, we will view the DVD, Manufacturing Consent: Noam 
Chomsky and the Media.  It explores the political life and ideas of Noam 
Chomsky, and probes mass media and how it works behind the scenes of the daily 
news.  Funny, provocative and very accessible.  It is a long film so we will 
only be able to see half of it and the other half later.   If you want to 
understand better how our media is "manufactured" especially during these 
tumultuous times, come and see this film.  

The Little Book of the Odd Month Club the last Tuesday of September is reading
