Grammy Hall Of Fame member and Grammy winner Janis Ian (Society’s Child, At Seventeen) joins Grammy Lifetime Achievement award winnerTom Paxton for a performance at the Fitzgerald Theatre on Friday, April 29th at 8:00 p.m. Janis Ian’s career has seen her as an accomplished singer-songwriter, columnist, activist and lecturer. She won a Grammy for her song “At Seventeen”. Has been nominated for Best Folk Performance, Best Children’s Recording, Best Jazz Vocal Performance and Album of the Year.

The career of award-winning songwriter Tom Paxton saw him sharing stages with Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Dave Van Ronk, Mississippi John Hurt and performing at Carnegie Hall and The Isle of Wight Festival. Tom’s songs have been recorded by Neil Diamond, Glen Campbell, Anne Murray, The Spinners, Pete Seeger & The Weavers, Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Willie Nelson, Chet Atkins, John Denver and Tiny Tim! Paxton’s songs have enduring appeal, including modern standards as “Bottle of Wine”, “The Last Thing On My Mind”, “Whose Garden Was This?”, “The Marvelous Toy” and “Ramblin’ Boy”.

Joining Janis and Tom is Natalia Zukerman.
