HI, This next Tuesday, July 13, we will be reading the poetry of Robert Service. He's the guy who wrote The Cremation of Sam McGee, but others are also famous. If you look him up you can find some good ones.

Also, i have a question re. The Little Book of the Odd Month Club. We would be discussing the book, Mountains Beyond Mountains the last Tues. in Sept, but i just realized i am going to go to a college reunion at that time, and am wondering if it would be ok to have this discussion a week earlier on Sept. 21 so i can be a part of this wonderful book. Then, in October, there will be no salons. We would start again in Nov. It would be time at the end of that month for another Little Book salon as we do it every other odd month. I have a suggestion and it is Crusaders for Justice by a St Paul author, Arthur McWatt. Lots of copies in library. He is the husband of recently deceased human rights activist, Katie McWatt.

Thanks,

patty
