HI, sorry for the lateness of this for tomorrow night's salon.Tomorrow we will be having open conversation. If you have some thoughts about what you want to converse about, let me know and we can center the conversation around it.
The "Little Book of the Odd Month Club" agreed to read the following book and it will be discussed the last Tuesday of May. This is the description by Steven from the salon:
Why read The Road, by Cormac McCarthy? The Road is the next selection by the Madhatter's TeaHouse Little Book of the Odd Month Club. It will be discussed at the Salon on the last Tuesday of May, May 25. It is a book of timely importance. McCarthy has written the bare bones of a story for survival. Each turning of the page is an experience in existential terror. Why has he written such a book? As a warning? As a teaching? Though a simple tale there are layers of meaning to unravel. Come and help us to unravel them.
