HI,  Next Tuesday, June 8, we will have as our guest Bernice Johnson  
who has traveled to Thailand and Bruma many times to work with the  
Shan.   The Shan are refugees without a camp.  It should be really an  
interesting evening.



The book chosen for The Little Book of the Odd Month Club is Mountains  
Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder.  It is the story of Paul Farmer and  
his absolutely amazing work in founding Partners in Health begun in  
Haiti several years ago.  The book will be discussed the last Tuesday  
of July.   Just reading part of it will qualify for "The Little  
Book...."but you will like it so much you probably will  finish it.   
At least read beyond the chapter on his travels to Cuba.
