Hi, next Tuesday, July 22, we will be honored to have Katy Lynn Hibbard
as our poet guest. The following is a little bit about her . Maybe
you can read some of her poems before Tuesday. Poetry is needed these
days, don't ya think? Thanks, patty
Kate Lynn Hibbard's first book of poems, Sleeping Upside Down
(Silverfish Review Press 2006), won the Gerald Cable Book Award. Her
poems are published in numerous journals and anthologies, including To
Sing Along The Way: Minnesota Women Poets from Pre-Territorial Days to
the Present. Other honors include a McKnight Loft Artist Fellowship in
Poetry and a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship. She teaches English
at Minneapolis Community and Technical College and lives in St. Paul
with her partner, two pugs, and two cats.
