HI, The Salon this Tuesday, Nov. 1 will have as it's guests, Rebecca 
and Michael Thompson who will present an illustrated talk about what 
Vietnam means to Americans 30 years after the end of the war that 
deeply affected an entire generation.  They recently traveled to 
Vietnam with a group of Macalester College alumni and will give us 
their insights into their trip.  Their impressions were also published 
as an article in the summer 2005 Macalester Today alumni magazine.
