HI, This Tuesday, Oct. 25 the salon will read or listen to the poetry
of Wendell Berry.

Next week, Nov. 1, the guests will be Rebecca and Michael Thompson who will tell us about their recent trip to Vietnam w/a group of Macalester College Alumni. Their illustrated talk is about what Vietnam means to Americans in 2005, 30 years after the end of the war that deeply affected an entire generation. The title of their talk will be "Vietnam is not a war, but a country."
