Hatter’s Tea House), 943 West 7th, St. Paul. Todd E. Pierce retired as a
Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps in November 2012.
His last assignment was as defense counsel in the Office of Chief Defense
Counsel, Office of Military Commissions where he represented Guantanamo
prisoners. He remains on a case currently before the D.C. Circuit Court of
Appeals. Pierce will discuss the threat to constitutional rights with an
endless war and whether that “war” is to the benefit or the detriment of
the U.S.Sponsored by: Pax Salon. FFI: Call Patty 651-227-3228.

4. War is the Greatest Threat to Human Rights!

Saturday, December 6, 1:00 p.m. March Starts at Bryant Square Park, 3101
Bryant Avenue South with closing rally at Karmel West, 312 West Lake
Street. This community march will highlight the US government’s role in
funding war and destruction abroad and the consequences of these policies
here at home. From US sponsored violence in Palestine and Colombia, to the
escalating of warfare in Iraq and Syria, to the cut backs in education and
social services at home the US is violating human rights. Sponsored by: the
[4]Anti-War Committee. Endorsed by: the MN Peace Action Coalition.

5. Welcome Home SOAW Returning Travelers TAKE NOTICE OF NEW DATE

Tuesday December 9, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. St. Paul Gallery (formerly Mad
Hatter’s Tea House), 943 West 7th, St. Paul. Exclusive movement fiefdoms
are stalling efforts to close the never-ending war(s) that feed the
petro-poisoning economy. It wasn’t apathy but anger at a constipated system
that kept voters away from the recent elections. We call on people to
connect the dots. Sponsored by: Pax Salon. FFI: Call Patty 651-227-3228.

7. Holiday Craft and Bake Sale for Social Justice
