BUS TRIP HEADS UP: Every year, the Vets for Peace takes a bus trip to a Georgia vigil to close the School of the Americas, a torture-training facility operated by the US military. It is the singingest and most spiritual of protest actions I know. The bus leaves the morning of 11/16, returning the evening of 11/19, with a night at a motel there. Cost is $200 for the bus, plus motel ($25 and up) and food. They are down to the last few seats.
