HI,   This next Tuesday we are continuing the month long Torture  
Awareness Month in conjunction w/the other activities going on at the  
end of the month.  (will send them out to you). So, for the poetry  
session this month we will read the poems that the detainees  
themselves wrote and were put into a book by Marc Falcoff, called  
Poems from Guantanamo.   Other poems having to do w/the detainees  
anywhere are welcome.   One poem, which is a song by Patti Smith about  
a young boy in Guantanamo who is finally released will be read.  I  
can't find it on a CD or would bring it.

Also, the Little Book of the Odd Month Club book for the last Tuesday  
of July is Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder about the life  
of Paul Farmer, founder of Partners in Health.
