HI,  This Tuesday we will have a conversation about Haiti.  April  
Knutson,  a professor of  French and francophone at the U of M will be  
the guest speaker.  April has travelled to Haiti several times and has  
worked with Haitian women writers.   We will pass the hat for money to  
send to a relief organization.

On March 16, we will celebrate the life of recently deceased poet,  
Lucille Clifton so you might want to get some of her poems in books of  
the internet.  If you go to the Moyers Journal from last night on  
PBS.org  there will be some of her poetry.

The Little Book of the Odd Month Club will discuss the book The  
Alchemist by Paulo Caulho on March 30.
