HI, Next Tuesday, Aug. 25, our theme for the evening will be on the
poet, Basho. Basho was a 17th Century Japanese poet. His history
is very interesting. He walked all over Japan and wrote a combination
of prose and poetry about everything he saw---the people, the land,
the places he went. His work evolved into Haiku for which he is most
famous. Come and bring your own Haiku to read. Gayle Cole will be
reading his works.
