Thought i would send you some of the "cinquains" that Morgan (the poet at our last salon) wrote. you can all write them----22 syllables in all, 2 on first line, 4 on second, 6 on 3rd , 8 on 4th and 2 on 5th. Try it. It was fun and even i did some. One of mine is at the end.

List

 Salon.

Tea and cookies.

Syllables and chit chat.

Cars whooshing by. Art work on Walls.

Delight.

Peace:

people

having fun at

meetings; marching, candles

illuminating hearts and minds.

Seeding.

Dizzy

 My brain

wants to keep on

spinning when I stop at

the light, little engine whirring.

Buzz. Buzz.

Here's one of mine: (for those of you who have been there, it will make sense)

Tea House

        Pawn shop
        7 UP Sign
Where is the cute tea house?
Small sign, big hearts; we come and go
        Thank you

Everywhere we go
People want to know
Who we are
So we tell them
We are the people
The mighty mighty people
