Sunday, June 10, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Minnesota Boat Club, Raspberry Island, One South Wabasha Street, St. Paul (tiny island under the Wabasha Bridge, on east side of Wabasha.)  In the midst of all the bad news, celebrate 25 years of good news from the past and contribute to a better, future world.  justice and peace work with the wonderful women (and like-minded men) of WAMM. And, to contribute to a better, future world. Enjoy the afternoon and early evening; French doors open onto verandas on the Mississippi River where you can chat with those who have made waves and keep rocking the boat. Open house: come any time. Ample hors d'oeuvres, cake, cash bar. Wandering minstrels, the String Beans (Garbonzo Roger Cuthbertson and ChickPea Jo Shubert will roam with their entertaining songs. There will be a short program from 4:30-5:30 p.m. with fun music by the Peace Sisters Delia Jerek and Deb Wilken; Brigid McDonald and Phyllis Goldin, and short vignettes from Wave Makers. From 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. there will be music from the band, Swing, Swang, Swung (Beth Pyper-Holz, Nick Pyper-Holz and Tony Thomas.) Short program. RSVP, if you can. Come anyway, if you don't.
