Dear Patty,
Thank you for your inquiry! Due to financial constraints, the project has taken longer than we hoped. That said, we held an advance screening in November at the City Pages Documentary Film Festival at the Lagoon theater and were honored by the words and approval of Chief Miswagon from the Pimicikamak Cree Nation.
After months of revisions on evenings and weekends (given financial limitations) we are just completing what we hope will be the final draft. On March 17, 2006 we have been invited to hold an advance screening at the Washington DC Environmental Film Festival, sponsored by the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Then I will turn around in early April and hold advance screenings in northern Manitoba and Winnipeg. We are holding onto the film to officially premiere at a major film festival. We have begun the submission process, so that may be a wait. In the meantime, we are planning on booking advance screenings at colleges across the country.
So all in all, things are going quite well for Green Green Water given substantial challenges along the way. Do you have a new email list? I don’t have record of this email address for you. I could add you to our Green Green Water email update list if you wish so that you can be in the loop as we plan screenings.
Thank you again for your support of this film.

PS If you’re interested in our new work, we have just launched production on a new documentary film project called The Red Tail that looks beyond the headlines of the historic struggle between Northwest Airlines and the workers whose loyalty and dedication built the company. http://www.redtailmovie.com
