Hi, The subject of the Salon on next Tuesday, October 18, will be "The
Legacy of Human Rights Abuses at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and Other
Prisons for Military Medicine." Our speaker will be Dr. Steven Miles,
professor of Medicine, Center of Bioethics at University of Minnesota,
and the author of the new book, The Hippocratic Oath and the Ethics of
Medicine.
Tuesday, October 25 we will read and hear the poetry of Wendell Berry.
