As a joint benefit for itself and the Flaming Film Festival, the Jack Pine
Community Center will be hosting a Queer Ping Pong Tournament on Saturday,
July 15 at 7pm.  The tournament will be replete with homemade trophies,
four randomly assigned brackets (naturally labeled L, G, B, and T), music,
and even rubber duckies.  Entry at the door is a suggested donation of $5.
Team registration is $10.  Register your two person team by emailing
pingpong [at] thejackpine.org.  After all, your pride is on the line.

The annual Flaming Film Festival screen independent queer films from
around the world.  Entirely volunteer run, it operates on a budget a
quarter of the size of most similar events, and relies on community
support for the majority of its fundraising.

The Jack Pine Community Center, located at 2815 East Lake Street, is a
collectively run free space committed to the fight for justice,
liberation, and autonomy.  As with all events at the Jack Pine, your kids
are welcome to attend.
