EVENT UPDATE

Metro UUs are warmly invited to attend MUUSJA?s Quarterly Meeting on:

SUNDAY MAY 16 FROM 3 TO 4:30 PM AT FIRST UNITARIAN SOCIETY.

Our engaging speaker is C. Scott Cooper, who will share useful tips on mobilizing voters to prepare UUs for our metro-wide Voter Registration Campaign. C. Scott, director of the Minnesota Alliance of Progressive Action (a statewide coalition of 28 organizations concerned with social justice), is a leader in the Minnesota Participation Project, a new effort to support the voter engagement work of Minnesota (501) (c) (3) organizations. Our gathering will include refreshments and updates on our work in affordable housing and wind power/economic globalization. MUUSJA, pronounced moosejaw, is a UU multi-congregational, multi-issue group with a mission to engage Twin Cities UUs in collective action for social change.
