EVENT UPDATE
Metro UUs are warmly invited to attend MUUSJA?s Quarterly Meeting on:
SUNDAY MAY 16 FROM 3 TO 4:30 PM AT FIRST UNITARIAN SOCIETY.
Our engaging speaker is C. Scott Cooper, who will share useful tips on mobilizing voters to prepare UUs for our metro-wide Voter Registration Campaign. C. Scott, director of the Minnesota Alliance of Progressive Action (a statewide coalition of 28 organizations concerned with social justice), is a leader in the Minnesota Participation Project, a new effort to support the voter engagement work of Minnesota (501) (c) (3) organizations. Our gathering will include refreshments and updates on our work in affordable housing and wind power/economic globalization. MUUSJA, pronounced moosejaw, is a UU multi-congregational, multi-issue group with a mission to engage Twin Cities UUs in collective action for social change.

Coexistence Downtown Minneapolis Noon Speaker Series
All presentations are free, open to the public, and take place in the lobby of One Financial Plaza, 120 South Sixth Street. Talks begin at 12 noon and end at 12:45pm.
Presented by the U of M Center for German and European Studies.
Coexistence was initiated and created by the Museum on the Seam, Jerusalem. It is presented in the Twin Cities by the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts, with major support from Allianz Life Insurance Company and Regis Foundation.
