in the US by federal, state, county and local law enforcement. We will
walk against all weapons, including the use of drones for surveillance, and

common ground. Special screening with Vets for Peace. TONIGHT.

Thursday, April 30, 7 pm, [23]Pepito's Parkway Theater 4814 Chicago Ave S,
MPLS, MN. The focus of the film is on what transpires between the peace
community in Missoula, MT and others as the result of painting a peace sign
on a telephone satellite in the hills outside of town.Through the
courageous acts of a Vietnam veteran and a peace advocate, Beyond the
Divide illuminates a path to healing old wounds and demonstrates authentic
peace building. It is a great story of healing and reconciliation. Veterans
for Peace is inviting all members of our community to the viewing with the
hopes of opening dialog on how we all may "cross the divide" and
increase our ability to work together to make the world a better place.

11. Al Nakba Protest: Say No to U.S. Aid to Israel!

Friday, May 15, 4:30 p.m. outside the office of Senator Klobuchar, 1200
Washington Ave S., Mpls. May 15, 1948, marked the end of British Mandate
over Palestine, and the establishment of the state of Israel on Palestinian
land. This day is marked as Al Nakba, Arabic for The Catastrophe. During
the 1948 war, at least 750,000 Palestinian men, women, and children were
ruthlessly attacked, massacred, and driven from their homes into refugee
camps, and have never been allowed to return, in violation of international
law. From 1948 through 2013, Israel had received $233.7 billion in U.S.
aid, which is used to occupy Palestine. That number compounds every day, as
2015 marks 67 years of US-backed Israeli occupation. Show your solidarity
with Palestine, say NO to U.S. aid to Israel. Sponsored by Anti-War
Committee, endorsed by the [25]Middle East Committee of WAMM.
