etc. Benefit WAMM by shopping at Ten Thousand Villages in St. Paul. Ten
Thousand Villages is a fair-trade retailer of artisan-crafted home decor,
personal accessories and gift items from across the globe. As one of the
world’s oldest and largest fair-trade organizations, Ten Thousand Villages
has spent more than 60 years cultivating trading relationships in which
artisans receive a fair price for their work and consumers have access to
distinctive handcrafted items. 20% of the evening's sales will be donated
to WAMM. Make an evening of it and visit one of the many restaurants
located nearby. Let us know if you can come and be of help: Talk to people

Iraq and Syria, has been opened. Additional troops and 'advisors' are being
sent. This new chapter of war and intervention could last for years to
come. Co-sponsored by WAMM End War Committee, the Twin Cities Peace

4. Grounded

Minneapolis. George Brant’s drama, featuring Sha Cage. Featuring Sha
Cage.Directed by Wendy Knox, Set Design by Joe Stanley, Lighting by Mike
Kittel, Sound by Mike Croswell, Costumes by Kathy Kohl.
A hot shot fighter pilot finds her career in the sky interrupted by an
unplanned pregnancy. Reassigned to remotely operate drones in Afghanistan
from a windowless trailer outside of Vegas, her life in the desert begins
to collide with the one she is patrolling on the other side of the world.
This compelling and searing look at moral responsibility, contradictory
choices and modern warfare seamlessly blends the personal and the political
as it explodes our assumptions about war, family and the power of
storytelling.

action to close the School. All are welcome. Sponsored by: the Sisters of

Hatter’s Tea House), 943 West 7th, St. Paul. Todd E. Pierce retired as a
Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps in November 2012.
His last assignment was as defense counsel in the Office of Chief Defense
Counsel, Office of Military Commissions where he represented Guantanamo
prisoners. He remains on a case currently before the D.C. Circuit Court of
Appeals. Pierce will discuss the threat to constitutional rights with an
endless war and whether that “war” is to the benefit or the detriment of
the U.S.Sponsored by: Pax Salon. FFI: Call Patty 651-227-3228.

8. War is the Greatest Threat to Human Rights!

Saturday, December 6, 1:00 p.m. March Starts at Bryant Square Park, 3101
Bryant Avenue South with closing rally at Karmel West, 312 West Lake
Street. This community march will highlight the US government’s role in
funding war and destruction abroad and the consequences of these policies
here at home. From US sponsored violence in Palestine and Colombia, to the
escalating of warfare in Iraq and Syria, to the cut backs in education and
social services at home the US is violating human rights. Sponsored by: the
[7]Anti-War Committee. Endorsed by: the MN Peace Action Coalition.

Tuesday December 9, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. St. Paul Gallery (formerly Mad
Hatter’s Tea House), 943 West 7th, St. Paul. Exclusive movement fiefdoms
are stalling efforts to close the never-ending war(s) that feed the
