 *Movie: **Salud**, follows the work of Cuban doctors who volunteer in a
number of Latin American and African countries. The film is a tribute to
Cuba’s longstanding policy of sending doctors to buttress healthcare in
poorer countries, more than any other country in the world.*

*Movie to be followed by: *

*Panel discussion on the Healthcare debate in the US Congress and the
relevance of the Cuban Universal Healthcare system to the struggle for
universal healthcare in the United States. Panelists include:*

* Dr. Elizabeth Frost (Co-chair, Physicians for National Health Program,
Minnesota)
Joel Albers (Healthcare Economics Researcher, UHCAN)
John Schwarz (Director, United Health System – a non-profit advocacy for
Universal Healthcare)
